Online Registration is closed!

We are no longer accepting online registrations for EACL 2006. Please register on site at the S.Chiara Auditorium. On-site registration begins Monday, April 3 2006, from 8:30am. (same fee as late registration).


Conference attendees must be ACL members. Membership in the ACL is for the 2006 calendar year regardless of when one joins.

Membership entitles you to the quarterly issues of the Computational Linguistics journal, discounts on other available publications of the ACL, discounts to some sponsored events, and announcements of upcoming related events of interest.

Full registration includes:

  • Hard copy of the proceedings;
  • CD-ROM version of the proceedings;
  • Admission to all technical / thematic sessions, student research workshops, demos, exhibits;
  • Social dinner;
  • Coffee breaks and reception.

    If you attend only workshops and/or tutorials and not the main conference, you need to pay the Tutorial/Workshop Only fee (note that this fee is in addition to the individual tutorial / workshop registration fees).

    Special requirements for students:
    Students must provide proof of enrollment in an educational programme by fax.

    Cancellation:
    Requests for refunds of the registration fee (less 50 euro of administration charge) will be honored only if they are received before 15 March, 2006. No refunds will be given for cancellation requests received after that date or for non-attendance.
