There is no airport in Trento. The nearest
aitports are: Verona (90 km), Brescia (135 Km), Venice (153
km), Bergamo (188), Milan (213 km).
Verona: there are daily flights to and from
Paris, London, and Frankfurt, as well as Rome and other major
Italian cities. The airbus service to the Verona railway station
leaves every 20 minutes, and it takes 20 minutes (price: 4,5
EURO); a taxi ride costs about 16 EURO. Direct trains to Trento
take about 50 minutes.
For further information, see: http://www.aeroportoverona.it/
Brescia: International flights from London
with the Ryanair Airlines. Connection with the Brescia railway
station by bus shuttle.
For further information, see: http://www.aeroportobrescia.it/
Venice: it has international flights. The
bus service to the railway station in Venezia-Mestre leaves
every 20/60 minutes, and it takes 20 minutes. Trains from
the Venezia-Mestre railway station to Trento via Verona take

Bergamo: There are daily flights from the
major European and Italian cities. Orio al Serio airport is

Milan: there are two international airports:
"Linate" (LIN) mainly for European flights, "Malpensa" (MPX)
overseas. The bus service to Milano Centrale railway station
takes about 25 minutes from Linate and 1 hour 15 minutes from
La Malpensa. From Milano Centrale railway station trains to
Trento via Verona take 2 hours and a half. Some trains have
direct connections; if not, you have to change train in Verona.
We strongly recommend that, in order to avoid sitting in long
lines at the railway station, visitors continuing to Trento
by rail purchase their tickets at the railway ticket offices
in the airport.

Overseas travelers could consider the opportunity

An alternative possibility is to fly to Munich
